Hello,

The Keyboard blocker (and even SiteKiosk) hasn’t been tested on a 64-Bit Vista machine.

Does it work if you install SiteKiosk with the Compatibility Wizard of Windows Vista 64?

Greetings Michael,

Thanks for your response and sorry for my belated response. I did try installing SiteKiosk (several times) with the Compatibility Wizard and I am getting the same problem: no use of the keyboard. Any other suggestions? If not, are there any plans of making SiteKiosk 64-bit compatible in the future?

Thanks!

Hello,

We have analyzed this issue and unfortunately the SiteKey.sys driver is not compatible to the 64-Bit version of Vista.
This driver is the keyboard blocker and a low level driver.

I’m sorry but there are not plans for a 64-Bit compatibility of this driver in the near future.
We will update our System-Requirements information page due this feedback from you.

If you want to display Flash or PDF content on a 64 Bit operating system (Windows Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64) you now can use SiteKiosk Version 7.5:
http://www.provisio.com/SiteKiosk/VersionHistory.aspx
This version uses the 32 Bit IE Webbrowser Control.

Also the SIteKey Driver works properly (since version 7.1 64Bit)

Please note:
Updating from SiteKiosk 7.1 64-bit to SiteKiosk 7.5 requires that you uninstall the 64-bit version of SiteKiosk 7.1 first.
If you want to continue using your SiteKiosk configuration, you should back it up before uninstalling SiteKiosk 7.1 64-bit.
