Support Request: Can't access the PC as sitekiosk doesn't start

Reproduction

We had troubles with a PC under Windows 8 as it was getting stuck starting Sitekiosk, showing the dog but stopped there. So with Ctrl Alt Del logged out and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, which didn't result. In a try we made a mistake, as seems the program started under the admin user. So program the startup under that user, but when restarted the PC it stopped on the same place. So now we have both users starting with Sitekiosk and getting stopped on the dog screen.
Now we can't access the PC at all, as both users are under Sitekiosk start. How can we solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Is there a URL bar in the config he setup? If so you can type "skcmd://quit" without the quotes to show the exit dialog.

Before being able to get into Autostart mode, you need to enter a key combination and password to exit SiteKiosk. The default key combinations are "Ctrl+Alt+F8" or "Esc". If the machine is not in Autostart mode, you can just reboot to get to the Windows login screen. You can also use SiteRemote to close SiteKiosk.

You may then use the "Master Password" on the certificate of authenticity (first 11 characters of the license) to exit the software to show the exit dialog.. You want to choose the option "Log off User"

The only other way to exit would be to access windows Safe Mode and edit the registry to take SiteKiosk out of Autostart.

If you can access the registry then you will need to make changes to the following registry entry:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ProVisio\SiteKiosk\RunMode", 2, "REG_DWORD" -> 0 is for Run Once, 1 is for Autostart, 2 is for Autostart with Shell Replacement

* You will want to set the value to "0" to disable the auto start settings.
