Support Request: Chrome extension

Description

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have encountered an issue with our sitekiosk while using Estonian Smart card and chrome browser within sitekiosk session.

It seems that extension (ckjefchnfjhjfedoccjbhjpbncimppeg) is unable to run under restricted account.

Log files do not contain any information regarding this issue. All services are running under admin account (regular chrome not Sitekiosk "start Once" session).

How is it possible to manage chrome extensions in sitekiosk or view related logs?

Unfortunately we cannot use IE browser.

Hello,

SiteKiosk with Chrome Browser Skin does use a Chromium CEF Engine that does not support Chrome Extensions.
Therefore the “Token signing” Chrome Extension cannot be used in SiteKiosk.

You may check if you can make it work in any way within the Chromium CEF browser by using the test application without SiteKiosk:
Currently, SiteKiosk 9.8.5463 uses the Chromium CEF version 81.0.4044.138 (Windows 32 bit).
Here you will find the corresponding chromium test application for download (unpack 2x and start the file cefclient.exe in the folder "Release"),
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/cef_binary_81.3.10%2Bgb223419%2Bchromium-81.0.4044.138_windows32_client.tar.bz2

(If it doesn’t work in the Chromium Test application it cannot work in SiteKiosk)

Otherwise you may check editing this file to add the corresponding JavaScript code (used in the “Token signing” extension):
“C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\SiteKioskNG\assets\customScriptExtension.js”
This file is executed in each website displayed in Chrome Browser Skin.

Here an example with manipulating the DOM of a web page displayed in the browser:
