Support Request: Problem opening pdf

Reproduction

I have a windows 7 pc using a web site through SiteKiosk.
i try to open a pdf page inside Internet Explorer but still opening in a Adobe windows. User lose control of browser.

Windows is Service pack 1
Having upgraded SiteKiosk to 8.8 build 1686
Applied fix di SiteKiosk SK8.8PlayerFix
Upgraded to Internet Explorer 10
Modified .skcfg file with:

- <msdownloaddlg-urls>
<url> http://aWebPage.com/ </url>
</msdownloaddlg-urls>

and

- <filter enabled="false" player="pdf" content="application/pdf" action="2"/>

Still having problem to open .pdf

Hello,

If the PDF will be displayed in the Browser or not depends on the web page which delivers the PDF link and the Adobe Reader settings.

First make sure that it works in the Internet Explorer and that the PDF will be displayed within the IE.
Then create a new SiteKiosk configuration (to reset your changes) and start SiteKiosk in “Run once” mode for testing.
If that works start SiteKiosk in “Auto Start” mode.
