It seems this is being generated because of incompatibility issues with the SiteKiosk browser and the URL www.icloud.com. As this website is developed by the Apple corp. I would guess that the coding in the website is geared more to the Safari Browser as this is not a general issue with other websites you try to access.

The SiteKiosk browser is based on the Microsoft web browser control. This is not the Internet Explorer but uses the core browser features of the Internet Explorer that’s installed on your machine. The SiteKiosk Browser uses the same platform "The Microsoft Web Browse control" as other third party applications which have their own proprietary browser but wish to use the core features of the Internet Explorer that is installed on the computer:

For testing it in the Internet Explorer Web browser Control (outside / without SiteKiosk) you can download this ZIP from our web page and then execute the exe after extracting the files (you do not need to install anything):

Please note that The Microsoft Webbrowser control is owned and distributed by Microsoft and our developers have no influence on websites or URLs which does not adhere to the standards of Microsoft.

It works fine when not in sitekiosk... WIth Internet Explorer.... Can you reproduce the error on your side?
Re: icloud.com 3/26/2014 5:48 PM
Yes. The error is reproducible.

It works in Internet Explorer, BUT SiteKiosk has its own proprietary browser which is NOT the Internet Explorer. SiteKiosk browser uses what is called the Internet Explorer Web Browser control which is explained in my previous entry.

In the Microsoft Web Browser control the issue is also reproducible.

So is this something that you will be fixing in a future release?

Did you change the compatibility view mode in SiteKiosk prior to this?

Change the compatibility setting in the SiteKiosk configuration file to false. Make sure the configuration tool is closed then open your configuration file in Notepad (right click > open with) and search (CTRL + F) for
<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true"/>
and change it to
<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="false"/>

SiteKiosk must be started twice for this setting to take effect. Start SiteKiosk once then close it immediately after it loads then start SiteKiosk again and test your issue.

By default the value is true. Note that despite the ie8 part of the name it also applies to higher IE versions

leave the default setting for the compatibly view mode in SiteKiosk.
In case you don’t want to have the “ignore” dialog (or if having issues with other web pages not compatible with IE11 mode) you should return to the IE10 (e.g. by uninstalling the IE11 update).
